Stephanie Nelson
Stephanie Nelson joined the STRAW team as a Watershed Education Coordinator in the fall of 2009. She was an intern with The Bay Institute twice through the Nancy Swadesh Internship Program. She used her experiences as an intern to formulate her senior thesis project: modifying the STRAW project model to work with a middle school on erosion control and habitat enhancement along a stream in Ames, Iowa. She has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University.
